Today marks 19 TIMES that Democrats have blocked mandatory medical care for every baby born.
→ New York’s state legislators passed a bill that would allow for the abortion of babies up to the very moment of birth and removed existing protections that required babies to receive mandatory medical care if they were born alive after an abortion.
→ Virginia Democrats introduced similar legislation, and their Governor went even further, saying it was ok to kill a baby even in the minutes after delivery.
→ Republicans in Congress said enough is enough and have tried to introduce the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would outlaw and penalize infanticide in the United States. There’s just one problem. Democrats won’t even allow an up or down vote. So Republicans have been asking for a vote every day that the House of Representatives is in session.
It is our sacred duty to protect innocent life.
Today, I will ask for a vote on @RepAnnWagner's Born-Alive Protection Act, which would outlaw and penalize infanticide in the United States. If Democrats object, we will ask again. And again. And again, until the House of Representatives speaks up for life. pic.twitter.com/uFhbe0tcwZ

Before the entire House, I asked for immediate consideration of a bill that protects infants born alive during abortions. But Democrats rejected my motion and refused to consider it. Why won’t they go on record and tell the American people where they stand on infanticide? pic.twitter.com/eaqBS17LTl

Today I asked for unanimous consent to bring up the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.
I was told to cease speaking and not to engage in “debate." Well, I will never stop speaking for the innocent babies who cannot speak for themselves…

It just happened again. For the 4th straight legislative day, House Dems blocked a vote on a bill that would protect babies who survive abortions from being murdered.
They refuse to take a vote and are silencing every Member who attempts to give a voice to the voiceless. pic.twitter.com/dtTbnI02C1

Tonight I led 21 of my colleagues on the House floor in calling for legislation to prevent infanticide. We must stand together against this radical and inhumane agenda, and we must act to protect the rights of all infants. https://t.co/eU5dOZsOxr

ICYMI: Last night on the House floor, I asked for unanimous consent to bring up the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act for consideration and a vote. Unfortunately, Democrats opposed the opportunity to defend life. pic.twitter.com/X5aecSqGGA

Last night on the House floor, I asked for unanimous consent to bring up H.R. 962, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. Democrats need to bring this up for a vote now to protect children and stop infanticide. https://t.co/bAVNjOC6Qb

I'm speaking on the House floor today to ask for unanimous consent on HR 962, which seeks to protect newborn children from infanticide. This should be an easy "yes" vote. The right to life is fundamental to our country's values. #BornAliveActhttps://t.co/nFea8DbppI

House Republicans asked Democrats to protect children born alive after failed abortions during rules votes on February 26th. Rep Debbie Lesko called for a move to the previous question and was denied.
Monday I walked across the Capitol and urged Senators to support the #BornAliveAct and protect the #RightToLife
Today in the House I requested a recorded vote and for the TENTH time @HouseDemocrats blocked a vote to give the most vulnerable children life-saving medical care. pic.twitter.com/bQo52aihgi

Today on the House floor, I asked for unanimous consent to bring up H.R. 962, the #BornAlive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires medical care be given to babies born alive during failed abortion procedures. For the 11th time now, @HouseDemocrats blocked the vote. pic.twitter.com/9IiEMYFR1w

On March 5, 2019, Rep. Chris Smith asked for unanimous consent to bring up H.R. 962, the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Act. House Democrats blocked the vote.
This legislation is a matter of protecting human dignity and should not be a controversial issue. It amends Federal law so that in the case that a baby survives an abortion, the doctor must do everything in their power to give the baby medical care.

On Thursday, I asked for a vote on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. House Democrats rejected it for the 14th time. Democrats have continued to block this legislation, but we will keep fighting to save the lives of newborn babies. pic.twitter.com/MFYjReEp1H

I asked for unanimous consent from the House to consider the Born Alive Act. This is the 15th time Democrats have voted to not protect babies who survive abortion. We must do better. https://t.co/qgrKB78m2W

For the16th time House Democrats have blocked consideration of the #BornAliveAct. It’s crucial that every American knows where their representative stands on an issue of, quite literally, life and death. #twill #ProLife pic.twitter.com/3n0VR9L9Yj

On Tuesday, I asked for unanimous consent for the #BornAliveAct to be considered on the House floor, & for the 17th time this year, Dems refused our request. THEN, they cut off my mic before I could debate the issue any further.

I just asked for unanimous consent for the House to consider the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. For the 18th time, Democrats said ‘no’. Newborns who survive abortions deserve to be granted the same legal protections and guaranteed medical care as any other baby. pic.twitter.com/8mAQKbLy8d

Today, I will ask for unanimous consent for Congress to consider the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. Newborns who survive abortions deserve to be granted the same legal protections and guaranteed medical care as any other baby.
